Run, Run, As Fast As You Can!

Run, Run, as fast as you can! You can’t catch me…I’m the Gingerbread Man!  Schools choose a theme for each motivational event, and this event presented by Strathern School was a tremendous success! Come with us to see an interactive play of the story. Parents, teachers, and children were all involved. Students each made a Gingerbread Man stick puppet to wave during the play. (I do hope that Gingerbread Man got away).

A parent’s comments:

Jillian and I read stories every night before bed. We enjoy stories like “No, David”, “Pete the Cat”, “My Lucky Day”, “Elmer”, “Llama Misses Mama”, and lots more.

Book Reviews

Inside View of a Book

Book Reviews by RIFSoCal Kids allow us to see value in books from a child’s point of view. The following are a few of thousands of thank you notes containing reviews of the books chosen by our kids. They are poignant, funny, and honest as only a child can be.

Dinomummy

“Dear RIF,
I am writing to thank you for the new book. I chose, “Dinomummy, The Life, Death, and Discovery of Dakota, a Dinosaur from Hell Creek”. I like this book because I want to grow up and study and look for dinosaurs. I picked this book because it has a lot of information of Dakota, a famous dinosaur. I appreciate this book for students to learn about dinosaurs.
Your Friend,
